My Story
In 2009, while visiting Ijevan in Armenia, I stumbled upon an old, nearly demolished building with a remarkable door - cracked and missing a corner through which a landscape of pine trees was visible. Captivated by its charm, I took a photograph, knowing the building would soon disappear and I wanted to capture that door to tell that story later. This moment sparked my passion for photographing doors.
Over the years, I’ve traveled through Armenia, Greece, France, Spain, and across Europe to the United States, capturing hundreds of doors, each with its own unique story. Some stories unfold as soon as I see the door; others emerge later. Now, I’m sharing these images on various physical products, hoping to give the doors a new life and pass their stories on to you.
